The role
Temporary Maintenance Fitter opportunity in a high-speed food production environment. Applicants must hold a recognised Fitter trade qualification and have a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience, including high-speed food production machinery. Candidates must currently be based in the Western Cape; no relocations. Please include a summary of the food production machinery you have worked on, contactable employment references and your availability / notice period in your application. Essential requirements
• MINIMUM 5 YEARS’ POST-QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE.
• Trade-qualified Fitter with a recognised trade qualification.
• High-speed food production experience.
• Practical maintenance, fault-finding and breakdown-repair experience.
• Currently based in the Western Cape — no relocations.
• Contactable employment references.

Responsibilities
• Carry out maintenance on food production machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and attend to breakdown repairs.
• Work on gearboxes, pumps and rotating equipment.
